THREE RECIPES, ONE SECRET INGREDIENT
With our next Shred starting January 7, I wanted to highlight some recipes utilizing my favorite plant base based chocolate protein powder for all my non-smoothie lovers out there. These recipes are also my go to when I am trying to stay away from refined sugar but know my sweet tooth will still be calling.
Here's one of my favorite warm cozy drinks to make in the evening. I have two other smpl recipes featuring this secret ingredient--but you'll have to head to Instagram for those! @mnmlmon
WARM AND COZY HOT COCOA
8 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 scoop Chocolate Complete
Splash of half & half for creaminess
Heat the milk and half & half in small sauce pan. Once warm, add in Complete Powder and unsweetened cocoa and whisk to combine. Pour into your favorite mug, top with whipped cream if ya want (I just discovered this dairy free kind that I love), and curl up next to the Christmas tree.
